Leading Values Insight
Workshop Description and Overview
This workshop provides participants with a guided exploration of their personal values, the history and development of the methodology used at the Values Hub, and the skills to support others on their journey of values discovery. By exploring the theory of values using a highly engaging conversational approach, facilitators support participant development of the fundamentals of leading values insight both personally and with others. This workshop includes both self-guided learning (reading, podcasts, reflection activities, and group presentations), and in-session learning along with the other members of the learning cohort. The sessions and conversation are hosted by members of our team of facilitators.
Participants will explore the robust and comprehensive framework of the methodology we use, which includes:
- Four phases of values development experienced by both individuals and groups.
- Eight stages of values that are experienced internally and externally by individuals.
- The influence that one’s worldview has on self-worth, self-development, relationships, and beliefs.
- The ways in which values provide stability, daily focus, and a pull towards the future.
Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to read and interpret our custom client values output reports (My Values Insights™) and prepare to engage others in a guided conversations related to their own values. This workshop is built upon an David Kolb’s learning model called experiential learning which strives to put learners in real-world situations where immediate application of the learning can occur.
